January 18 & 19, 2019 looks to be another busy basketball weekend for teams in Central New York doing their part to fight cancer one game at a time.

The weekend starts Friday Night with Phoenix boys’ hosting Homer in a game to fight Lymphoma Cancer  and honor recent graduate and athlete from Phoenix who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma.  Come on out and show your support.

Saturday will be kicked off with the girls’ varsity teams from the Central County League (C.C.L.) will take their fight to the court at Madison High School with four games.

Saturday afternoon, the Westmoreland entire girls’ basketball program – from Modified, to JV and capped off with Varsity – will take the court to hoop it up for the Hospital – with an entire day of basketball with raffles, bake sales and an auction of some very nice products, all to go to support the GOLISANO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL in Syracuse.

The night will conclude with two games at Allyn Hall on the campus on Onondaga Community College – first in the Section 5 vs Section 3 Challenge Victor will take on West Genesee in a boys’ varsity match up – followed by another boys’ game with Hamilton and McGraw taking the floor.

We would like to thank all the coaches, athletic directors and players that make events like these happen – all FIGHTING CANCER ONE GAME AT A TIME – thank you….
